ACCESSIBILITY

More room for everyone.

Our approach to making Vale easier to navigate, read, and use, and how to report a barrier.

01

Our approach

We aim to make Vale usable with different devices and input methods. The public site includes semantic page structure, labeled navigation, keyboard focus indicators, and layouts that adapt to smaller screens.

02

Your website, your choices

The accessibility of a creator’s website also depends on its content and design. Use descriptive headings, meaningful link text, readable contrast, and image descriptions. Check your work with keyboard navigation and across screen sizes before publishing.

03

Known complexity

Visual canvas editing can present challenges for assistive technologies. We are not claiming complete conformance or that every interaction works equally well for everyone. Tell us which workflow prevents you from completing a task so we can investigate.

04

Report a barrier

Use the contact page and include the URL, the action you were trying to complete, and, if you are comfortable sharing, the browser or assistive technology involved. Describe what would make the task possible for you.
