The terms that apply when you access Vale, create an account, build websites, or purchase a plan.
Using Vale
These terms govern your use of Vale’s website builder and related services. Use Vale only if you can enter a binding agreement under applicable law, or with the authorization of a parent or guardian who is responsible for your use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Your account
Provide accurate account information and keep access credentials secure. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for notifying us of suspected misuse. Account access is managed through our authentication provider.
Your work & our service
You retain ownership of content you create or upload. You grant Vale permission to store, process, reproduce, and display that content as necessary to provide the service, including publishing when you request it. You must have permission to use the content and respect others’ rights. Vale’s software, templates, and brand remain the property of their respective owners; using them does not transfer ownership.
Plans & payments
Plan prices and limits are shown on the pricing page and at checkout, in Nigerian naira. Starter is a one-time purchase for access while Vale operates, rather than a promise that the service will operate forever. Monthly plans recur until canceled. Payments are processed through Paystack. Review the plan, billing interval, and total before paying.
Cancellation & refunds
Cancel a recurring subscription from Billing. The paid tier remains active until the end of its paid period. Existing published sites receive seven days of hosting grace after paid access ends. After that, sites outside your current plan pause; drafts and published snapshots remain saved. Starter lifetime keeps up to two eligible single-page sites online. An eligible confirmed payment restores paused public access automatically. Publishing and paid features require an active entitlement. See the refunds page for payment issues and refund requests. These terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights.
Publishing, exports & AI
Published sites are accessible to anyone with the link and may be indexed or copied by others. Review your content before publishing. Exported sites and external integrations are your responsibility to configure and maintain. AI output can be inaccurate or inappropriate; review it before use and do not submit information you are not permitted to share.
Acceptable use & suspension
Do not use Vale for unlawful content, fraud, phishing, malware, harassment, rights infringement, or attempts to disrupt the service. We may restrict content or access to address violations, security concerns, or legal obligations. Contact us if you believe a restriction is mistaken.
Service availability & responsibility
We work to provide a useful service, but do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free output, or a particular business result. Keep copies of important work. Each party remains responsible as required by applicable law; nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes & questions
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date on this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the service or an available account contact channel. Use the contact page for questions or disputes.
